April Froyo Shop Openings & Closings

Froyo activity is definitely picking up, with more froyo shop openings in April than in any of the previous months of 2023. We found 46 new froyo shops in 16 countries in April, compared to 41 openings in 14 countries in March. Malaysia and Indonesia tied for first place with 10 new shops each. Italy was third with six new shops.

We have the latest news from Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, including two NEW flavors, a new collectible spoon, and two Double Smiles Days. The new flavors are Whipped Lemonade froyo and Dark Chocolate Candy froyo made with Dove Chocolate.

Should Your Froyo Shop Go Cashless?

While many coffee shops have gone cashless, cashless froyo shops are much rarer, though they do exist. A Yogurtland location in Denver went cashless after multiple robberies in 2020.
