Big players like Ben & Jerry’s and Toll House now sell edible cookie dough. Baked cookie shops are now trendy – led by Crumbl Cookies, which opened 700 stores in six years, but rivals like Cookie Plug, Milk Jar, Tiff’s Treats, Chip City, Levain Bakery, etc. The trendy cookies are bigger and thicker.
