Froyo activity was slower than usual in January. We found 38 new froyo shops in 17 countries, compared to 53 openings in 22 countries in December 2022. The most openings occurred in Malaysia, with eight, followed by Mexico with six.
Tutti Frutti returned to Malaysia and also had the most openings, with four. Froogurtz, Happy Yo, and Yole opened three new branches each, while Llaollao opened two new outlets.
Sadly, we also found six froyo shop closings, including two Yogurtland locations in Los Angeles.
