About Dawn Stanley

Dawn’s journey to VP of Sweet Chills Brands was not a traditional one; however, it revealed her passion for the Frozen Dessert industry and her intuitive knowledge for marketing and product development. Dawn started her career as an employee of a large chain of frozen yogurt stores in California and eventually moved her way up to managing several locations. Dawn leveraged her entrepreneurial skills and her knowledge of the industry to become a co-owner and franchisee of 4 Golden Spoon locations and was nominated for the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2005.

Soon she would become Director of Operations and Corporate Trainer for the franchise, even branching out into flavor development. After leaving the California chain, Dawn became a representative for Sweet Chills Brands and extended their reach into the East Coast. There she gained new customers, created relationships with new dairies and distributors, and made the Sweet Chills Brand a nationwide company. Dawn continued her work with product development to create a single serving “Smart Snack” product to reach into the school lunch market. As Dawn continues to represent Sweet Chills Brands as Vice President, she hopes to expand the brands customer base, to develop innovative new products and flavors, and share her knowledge with small family businesses in the industry.

About Sweet Chills

Sweet Chills Brands, LLC. owns the Rainbow’s End frozen dessert brand and Miss Karen’s frozen yogurt brand. Sweet Chills Brands  was formed in 2010 to relaunch the brand, Miss Karen’s Frozen Yogurt. Miss Karen’s began in 1979, but fell away in the late 1990’s.

In 2011, Rainbow’s End became part of the company Sweet Chills Brands. It was SCB’s goal to take Rainbow’s End national. Rainbow’s End began as the house brand for Southwest Traders, a foodservice distribution company, back in the late 1980’s. In 2014, Sweet Chills Brands began to grow Rainbow’s End into multiple product lines, expanding the offering to include Ice Cream Mix, Custard Mix, Gelato, Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet and Slushie products.

Sweet Chills Brands takes pride in the strategic partnership we keep with a local dairy farm in Southern CA. This allows Sweet Chills Brands (known as SCB) to market our two frozen yogurt brands as Farm to Cup, made with real Grade A California Milk. In 2017, we partnered with another family farm in Central, CA to produce our 3-gallon tub ice cream.

Today, Rainbow’s End has over 50 flavors of Frozen Yogurt Mix. Our products are packed in 4/1-gallon plastic jugs to reduce our carbon foot print as well as prevent leaking cartons at the end user level. Our goal is to continue to be ahead of the trends and develop new flavors to keep our customers wanting more and asking what is new at Rainbow’s End. For example, in 2014, Rainbow’s End introduced the first vegetable flavor into our product line with Cucumber Lime Sorbet.
