It continues to be a busy time for froyo shop openings. In April, we found 34 froyo shop openings in 16 countries (compared to 36 openings in March and 20 openings in February). Mexico led the way with five openings, while the US and Indonesia had 4 each.
The first froyo truck launched in Romania and llaollao launched their froyo truck in Aveiro, Portugal. Flavorcup and Sour Sally opened three new branches.
And we’d like to give a special shout out to our Swirl of Honor member shop, the new Easy Breezy in Los Gatos, California. We’ll have more to say about Easy Breezy in our next post.
Sadly, we also found five froyo shop closings. The last Pinkberry in Thailand closed.

Pinkberry’s last day of business was April 30. It was the last Pinkberry location in Thailand. At one time, Pinkberry had multiple locations in Thailand.
