Summit Premium Launches New Beyond Dairy® Oat Milk and Almond Milk Soft Serve Varieties to Address Growing Consumer Demand for Plant-Based Food

Summit Premium, a brand of Socially Responsible Food Group, Inc. (SR Food Group) and the leader in the non-dairy soft serve category, has debuted four new plant-based, Beyond Dairy® varieties: Summit Premium Non-Dairy Oat Milk, Strawberry Oat Milk, Chocolate Almond Milk, and Cookies N Cream Almond Milk Non-Dairy Soft Serve and Shake Mix. The innovation addresses the growing consumer demand for non-dairy options across the larger dairy category.

“In response to the rapid growth of plant-based foods made by companies such as Beyond Meat® and Impossible Foods® on fast-food menus, SR Food Group has registered “Beyond Dairy®” to be used in branding our plant-based soft serve mixes accordingly,” said Tom Ostoich, president of the SR Food Group. “This is an exciting development that addresses this broader category and the skyrocketing requests we’ve received from consumers asking us to bring more non-dairy variety to market to include pre-mix flavors.” The introduction of plant-based, pre-mix traditional flavors such as Strawberry, Chocolate, and Cookies n Cream gives customers more enticing dairy-free options. These liquid mixes include live probiotic cultures and are soy-free and gluten-free.

The new, gluten-free Oat Milk varieties are the first Oat Milk Soft Serve products ever available. They should begin shipping to retailers in late August and will be available nationally in the coming months. Southwest Traders currently distributes the Beyond Dairy products on the West Coast and Dingman’s Dairy distributes on the East Coast.

The move to offer more plant-based varieties follows the release of plant-based, Beyond Dairy® plain Coconut milk, Cashew milk, and Almond milk products.
