Stoelting’s New Flavor Burst Soft Serve System Creates Attractive Flavor and Color Combinations
New system creates a variety of flavors that are striped or blended from a single spout
Sheboygan, WI – September 21, 2020 – Stoelting, a division of The Vollrath Company, introduces Flavor Burst®, a versatile system for soft serve machines that creates visually appealing customized treats with up to eight flavors out of one spout, in a striped or blended pattern.
The Flavor Burst spout assembly installs directly onto a Stoelting freezer’s spout and the syrup lines that create the colorful designs are easily connected and disconnected. The system is controlled by a 10-inch color touch panel. Operators simply select the flavors to dispense on the panel and then dispense from the soft serve machine handle like normal. The variety of customizable flavor and color combinations creates a fun experience and the system works for both traditional service and self-serve.
Striped flavors are applied to the outside as well as the middle of the soft serve while blended flavors are mixed in at the spout. The syrups come in a wide variety of flavors, allowing operators to change the menu regularly at minimal cost. There are 38 flavors for striped machines and 17 flavors for blended machines. Stored in 1-gallon ready-to-install bags, the concentrated syrups have a long shelf life and do not require refrigeration. Each 1-gallon syrup bag provides 560 5-oz servings for striped flavors and 400 5-oz servings for blended flavors.
The different Flavor Burst configurations are equipped with either an internal or external sanitizer tank for convenient clean-in-place sanitation of the spout, syrup lines, pumps and bag connectors. An optional floor stand provides convenient storage. Syrups are available for purchase.
