It’s time to update our annual list of new mobile frozen yogurt businesses. Our list includes frozen yogurt trucks and trailers that launched in 2018. If you know of any that we missed, let us know at info@internationalfrozenyogurt.com
It seems like we always find a few more froyo trucks after the list is published, despite hours of froyo truck research.
2018 Froyo Trucks
- Bubblz, Adrian, Michigan, IG @bubblz2018: The trailer serves boba drinks and froyo.
- Eis Simoni, Germany, IG @eis_simoni: There are several brick and mortar shops in Germany and a froyo truck
- Froyo Fresh, Tampa, Florida, IG @froyofresh: Froyo Fresh has a brick and mortar shop. They added the froyo truck this year.
- HIRO’s FroZEN Desserts (Tallahassee, FL): We’re not sure when this truck launched but the first mention we found was at a food truck event this year in Tallahassee. HIRO’s has a brick & mortar shop as well.
- Karamell Almondo (Malaysia), IG: @karamelloalmondo: While Karamello Almondo is a soft serve ice cream chain, they do have froyo.
- Little Penguin Truck, Scott, Ohio, IG @thelittlepenguintruck: Ohio’s first and only self-serve froyo and dessert truck
- My!Iced, Braga, Portugal, IG: myiced_braga: The truck is currently parked inside the Minho Center shopping center in Braga, Portugal.
- OBX Frozen Yogurt, Southern Shores, North Carolina, IG @obxfrozenyogurt: OBX’s truck serves froyo, Dippin’ Dots, and cookie dough. Their shop is located in Southern Shores, NC.
- Purple Swirl, Bahrain, IG @purpleswirlcafe. Like the cafe, Purple Swirl’s food truck offers sweet and savory treats.
- Randy’s Frozen Yogurt, Philipsburg, Netherlands Antilles: We found very little information about this new froyo truck, but it’s probably the first on the island.
- Spoonabowl, Las Vegas, Nevada, IG @spoonabowl: The first all-natural, homemade, scoopable froyo truck in Vegas
- Yo Country, Hermiston, OR: The truck serves froyo and kombucha, like the shop.
- Yo-get-it, Melbourne, Australia, IG @yogetit: The Yo-get-it truck launched in 2018. The froyo and toppings are self-serve, just like in Yo-get-it’s stores.
- Yummies, Fairport, NY: The shop changed ownership in 2017 and launched a froyo truck this year.

- Frozen Fruit Co., Santa Monica, CA, IG @frozenfruitco: Plant based scoops (converted from soft serve this year)
- Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams Sweet Treats trucks, IG: jenisicecreams: Not sure how many there are but we caught one that served frozen yogurt scoops. The truck doesn’t always offer froyo though.
Fourteen new froyo trucks is a respectable number, though it’s less than we’ve found in recent years. In 2014 and 2017, we found 20+ new froyo trucks. But back in 2012, we only found nine new froyo trucks. The US led the way in new froyo trucks, as it did last year.
