Froyo activity in March followed a similar pattern to what we saw in February. We found 56 new froyo businesses in 19 countries in March, compared to 50 new froyo businesses in 24 countries in February.
The Philippines had the most openings with fourteen, followed by the United States with nine, and Indonesia with six. The Philippines also had the most openings in February, with the US and Indonesia tying for second place.
Llaollao opened six new outlets, all in the Philippines, and Chimmy opened five new outlets in the Philippines. Pinkberry opened its first branch in Uzbekistan. Also, Yoajung opened its first branch in Hong Kong.
Sadly, we also found three froyo shop closings.
