Berry Nuts makes granola products sold throughout Mexico. Some flavors include Yogurt Matcha and Yogurt Taro granola clusters. Yumorama offers several kinds of Berry Nuts clusters as froyo toppings.

Brioche, California Bliss, France, @californiablissfrance

Leave it to the French to take a brioche (yum) and stuff it or top it with frozen yogurt (double yum).

Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, Yogurtland, US, @yogurtlandinc

Flamin’ Hot Cheetos have been appearing all over, from taco shells at Taco Bell to Flamin’ Hot Mac n’ Cheetos at Burger King. People have put Flamin’ Hot Cheetos on hot dogs, pizza, bagels, corn, etc. Back in December 2019, Yogurtland offered Flamin’ Hot Cheetos as a limited time topping. There was also a special event at Yogurtland Santa Ana, CA, featuring an appearance by Chester Cheetah.

Flourless Chocolate Lava Cake, BLK 513, Philippines, @blk513ph

BLK 513 introduced the Molten Skim Cup last year. The creation starts with flourless chocolate lava cake on the bottom, a swirl of Dark Skim Yogurt, your choice of fruit and chocolate sauce. The cake oozes chocolate lava. Their froyo is made with nonfat Greek froyo and activated charcoal.

Grass Jelly, Yogurtland, Thailand, @yogurtlandthailand

Yes, it’s the same Yogurtland that started in California, but in Thailand, they have some different toppings, including grass jelly. Grass jelly, also known as herb jelly, is a popular dessert in East Asia. It’s commonly found in milk tea as well.

Knafeh Crumbs & Sugar Syrup, Dairee, Australia, @d_a_i_r_e_e

Dairee created a knafeh frozen yogurt flavor for Ramadan and you can get it topped with knafeh crumbs and sugar syrup. Knafeh is a beloved Middle Eastern dessert, typically made with shredded phyllo dough (crunchy noodles) and creamy cheese that’s soaked in rosewater or orange blossom sugar syrup and topped with crushed pistachios.

Maple Whipped Cream, Ayelada, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, @ayelada

Ayelada uses local milk for its froyo and they use local maple syrup from Ioka Valley Farm to flavor their maple froyo and their maple whipped cream. The magic happens during maple season, of course.

Saffron Milk at PICK Kuwait, @pick_kuwait

Pick Kuwait recently created Saffron Tree Mi, featuring pudding froyo with saffron milk (sauce), and disc cake. Saffron milk sauce sounds amazing.

Smoky Purple Potato Mochi at Yo Mama Frozen Yogurt, Hong Kong, @yomamafroyohk

Plenty of froyo places offer mochi but Yo Mama makes their own and offers a new flavor every month. Past mochi flavors include smoky purple potato, rose, peach, watermelon, and strawberry. They pair their froyo with their seasonal mochi flavors.

Sour Orange CBD Dynamites at Eb & Bean, Portland, Oregon, @ebandbean

Eb & Bean partnered with a local maker, Greater Goods, to offer CBD Dynamites as a topping. CBD Dynamites are like adult Pop Rocks. They’re sour orange flavored fizzy, exploding candies with 10mg of CBD per serving (for adults 18+).

Taiyaki Cone, Sunnysu, Germany, @sunnysu.de

We’ve been amazed by the elaborate ginormous froyo and bubble waffle creations from Sunnysu. We’re not sure what all the toppings are in the pictures, but we think we’ve seen giant marshmallows, fresh fruit, candy, cookies, sprinkles, cheesecake, Pocky, lollipops, macarons, cotton candy, 24K gold leaf, and even whole taiyaki (fish shaped waffles).

Vanilla Cherries, YOMARO, Germany, @yomaro_de

The German counter serve froyo chain turned 8 this year and vanilla cherries are one of their housemade toppings. They look like cooked cherries. You can also add them to their rice pudding, milch reis.
