We’ve just updated the list of frozen yogurt and foodservice open houses, product shows, and trade shows for 2024. This list includes open houses, product shows, and trade shows that might be of interest to those currently a part of or aspiring to join the frozen yogurt industry. These events highlight new products and new ideas, as well as provide access to suppliers, educational opportunities, and networking opportunities. Most of the 2024 show dates have been announced. Several trade shows have been rebranded. The Process Expo is now EATS: The Equipment And Technology Show for Food & Beverage, the New England Food Show is now New England Restaurant & Bar Show, and Natural Products Expo East is now Newtopia Now.
We’re not sure what happened to the New England Ice Cream Restaurant Association.
Trade shows seem to be back to the pre-pandemic normal. However, there are very few froyo open houses and product shows. Open house sponsors include frozen yogurt machine manufacturers, foodservice distributors, and packaging companies. Open houses are generally free to attend but many require pre-registration, so be sure to check the sponsor’s website before attending. Most of the suppliers that used to have open houses and product shows have discontinued these. Some open houses are now by appointment only. Most of the froyo product shows occur in February and March on the East Coast and Midwest.
Trade shows take place around the world and they are attended by foodservice professionals. Trade shows typically require registration and a badge fee. Some have restricted attendance and are not open to the general public.
