Favorite Froyo & Toppings Combinations

coffee froyo topped

With hundreds of cups of frozen yogurt in our tummies, we’ve tried many froyo and toppings combinations and we know that some combinations taste better than others. Foods that are complementary create a balanced flavor when combined.

The food pairing method seeks to identify foods that go well together based on shared key flavor components. It may be that the underlying assumption only holds for North America and Western Europe. We aren’t experts in food pairing but we do have plenty of experience eating froyo. We’ve found that some toppings go well with every froyo flavor (universal toppings) while others are best with particular flavors.

Universal Toppings

  • Cap’n Crunch
  • Graham cracker crumbs
  • Granola
  • Mochi
  • Nuts
