Summer is traditionally a season for fruit flavors at froyo shops and that trend continued. The most popular fruit flavors are seasonal summer fruits: watermelon, coconut, mango, and berries. Cake flavors were also popular, with five new cake flavors introduce this summer.
We found 29 new flavors introduced this summer and 28 flavors time last year. Of the 29 new flavors, 15 were vegan and 14 were dairy-based. Fifty-eight percent of the new flavors were fruit flavors.
Menchie’s had the most new flavors, just as they did last summer. TCBY introduced their first oat milk based vegan froyo flavors with live and active cultures.
