It’s been another busy month of froyo shop openings. In May, we found 61 new froyo shops in 24 countries, compared to 54 openings in 20 countries in April. The most openings, thirteen, occurred in the United States, followed by the Philippines with seven. Llaollao, the largest froyo chain in Europe and Asia, opened three locations and Happy Yo opened three shops in Italy. There was one new froyo truck, Buddhaberry in New York, and a showroom filled with intelligent vending machines dispensing froyo, acai, and soft serve ice cream, open 24/7 in Los Angeles.
Sadly, we also found five froyo shop closings.
