If there was a tie in terms of the average rating, we chose the shop with more reviews. We did not consider shops with less than 20 reviews.

We haven’t forgotten the Canadian territories, but we didn’t find any frozen yogurt stores in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut.
Of the top 10 rated frozen yogurt shops, 80% were self-serve and 90% were part of a franchise. Canadian chain Goji’s and American chain Menchie’s had the highest ratings in three provinces each. In contrast, only 32% of the top rated froyo shops in the US were part of large franchise chain. Most were single location shops.
