This month brought several notable international firsts. MYKA opened its first shop in the United Kingdom, Go Greek Yogurt debuted its first UK location, Pinkberry launched its first branch in Angola, and Smooy opened its first shop in the Philippines. These milestones highlight the continued global expansion of established froyo brands and the growing popularity of frozen yogurt in new markets.
In terms of who opened the most shops, MYKA opened six new branches, Chimmy opened four, and Yogen Fruz, Yogurt Purple, Yoajung, and Yogurt World opened three apiece.
The United States once again had the most openings with 26, followed by Australia with ten, and the Philippines with eight. Greek frozen yogurt continues to gain traction worldwide.
As always, we also tracked froyo shop closures in July. Sadly, we found twelve closures. At least five of these were moves though.
