We didn’t find many froyo shops in Peru; in fact, Peru seems to have the fewest froyo shops of the South American countries we’ve examined (i.e., Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela). Froyo in Colombia: History, Trends, Shops
We were surprised to find so many shops in Colombia. The oldest froyo shops were founded in 2010: Woody’s, Percimon, Yogen Fruz, IOMI, and The Yogurt Factory. Woody’s opened the first self-serve froyo shop in Colombia in Chia. By 2013, Woody’s had 22 froyo shops.
