Yoga-urt Granada Hills
Yoga-urt is now open at 17454 Chatsworth Street #A in Granada Hills, Los Angeles. This is the fourth Yoga-urt shop and the first that’s franchisee-owned. The other shops are in Los Angeles County: Glendale, Echo Park, and Santa Monica. All Yoga-urt locations have earned three swirls from our Swirl of Honor program, the maximum possible, based on an assessment of frozen yogurt quality, store cleanliness, superior customer service, and environmentally friendly business practices.
Led by former tech industry product manager Andrea Castillo, alongside her two business partners Jonathan Quiros and Diego Castillo, Yoga-urt Granada Hills sits in the retail space of the brand-new mixed-use development MODERNO La Granada. The new location is adorned with Yoga-urt’s signature heart mural painted by Cloe Hakakian and features six rotating creamy and vibrant flavors on tap.
Yoga-urt is LA’s first all-organic, fully dairy-free, and allergy-friendly soft-serve frozen yogurt shop. Since 2015, Yoga-urt has been handcrafting their soft serve on-site daily in small batches using the highest quality premium ingredients. Each flavor is enriched with probiotics for digestive and immune health.
Yoga-urt has received recognition from publications like the Los Angeles Times, and VegNews, and has been voted as “Best of Glendale” for the “Ice Cream/ Frozen Yogurt” category by readers of the Glendale News-Press for several years. Additionally, Yoga-urt’s Santa Monica location was recently honored with two of the City of Santa Monica’s Sustainable Quality Excellence Awards.

Yoga-urt Granada Hills plans to have a grand opening celebration on Saturday, August 3. The first 50 guests will receive complimentary minis with one topping. During the grand opening, guests can enjoy $2 off birthday cake shakes. Mini popsicles will also be available for a limited time. The shop’s regular hours will be 1 PM – 1o PM daily.
