Summer 2021 New Froyo Flavors & Trends

New from Menchie’s: Vegan Wild Cherry Sorbet with a Touch of Lime

Self-serve frozen yogurt is back at most froyo shops, though not many places are offering samples. We’re still seeing fewer new flavor introductions than in 2019 but more than in 2020. There were 13 new vegan flavors (including five made with oat milk and five sorbets) and 13 new froyo flavors. Fruit flavors were the most popular, with 12 new fruit flavors. Chocolate came in second with five new chocolate flavors. There were five new tea flavors.

Menchie’s continued to lead the way with the most new flavor introductions. Yogurtland introduced acai bowls and fruit bowl fusions, for a limited time, for the summer. We were intrigued by Menchie’s Canada’s bubble tea infused froyo flavors.
