Yogo South Korea
June was another busy month for froyo shop openings. We found 68 new froyo shops (and a few trailers) in 20 countries in June, compared to 73 openings in 24 countries in May.
The most openings occurred in the United States, with nineteen, with the Philippines in second place with eleven openings, and South Korea and Indonesia tying for third place with six openings a piece. The Philippines had the most openings in May.
Yogurt World in South Korea had the most openings in June, with five, followed by Sour Sally in Indonesia with four. Llaollao opened three new branches in June. Menchie’s opened its first shop in Bangladesh.
Sadly, we also found four froyo shop closings.

Due to personal reasons and a reevaluation of our career path, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors after an unforgettable run since 2015. From long lines eagerly awaiting desserts to quiet hours spent reflecting, each moment has been cherished.
