For your pet-loving bestie: Last year, Yogurtland introduced its first branded apparel and merchandise collection. The collection included apparel for adults and kids, bibs, giant froyo spoons, mugs, tumblers, hats, totes, backpacks, pet accessories, and more. Proceeds from the sale of Yogurtland merchandise are donated to Yogurtland Cares, Yogurtland’s non-profit that supports organizations that assist women and children. This year, they’ve expanded the collection to include froyo pet (dog) items! Choose from a plush Yogurtland spoon toy ($15), a plush Yogurtland cup toy ($15), a Yogurtland pet bandana ($14), and a Yogurtland pet rib tank top ($34) in four colors. Souvla (Bay Area, CA) introduced Souvla Frozen Greek Yogurt Dog Toys. You can purchase the toys ($20 each) at any Souvla location or your online delivery order. The toys aren’t sold on the Souvla website’s online merchandise shop though.
For your foodie or your NYC-obsessed friend: Goldbelly does not currently ship any froyo, though you used to be able to order Forty Carrots frozen yogurt on the site. However, the good news is that you can order Forty Carrots froyo from the Bloomingdale’s website, along with a Forty Carrots cooler bag ($68), koozies (set of two for $16), apron ($44), and a Stoney Clover Forty Carrots patch ($18). We really want the insulated cooler bag with sprinkles.
For the aspiring chef: Yogurt and Whey: Recipes of an Iranian Immigrant Life ($40) by Homa Dashtaki, is a new highly regarded cookbook from the founder of White Moustache Yogurt, considered by some to be the best yogurt. Dashtaki’s passion is to find ways to use whey, a yogurt byproduct. There are 100 recipes that range from traditional to innovative. There is one frozen yogurt recipe, one yogurt paleta recipe, and several recipes for whey sorbet and whey pops.
For your unicorn-loving niece: The Fro-Yo Unicorn Plush from Marshmallow Zoo is a super soft, super cheerful toy. There are three sizes: 9 inches, 13 inches, and 20 inches. She’s even machine washable. The 9-inch version is $15.99.
For parents with a newborn: Head to BoxLunch and get the Care Bears Good Luck Bear and Wish Bear froyo sprinkles bodysuit ($16.90) in 6M, 12M, 18M, and 24M. So cute!
