The current population is 11.5 million. Amman is the capital city and the most populous, with a population of 1.275 million. The next largest cities are Zarqa (792,665), Irbid (307,480), and Russeifa (268,237).
We found 20 places to get froyo in Jordan. The majority of froyo shops opened in Amman. Of the 20 shops we found, all except Tutti Frutti, are counter-serve. There are international franchises like Pinkberry, Tutti Frutti, Yogen Fruz, and Shakeaway. Gerard Ice Cream, founded in Amman, Jordan, in 1995, has the most locations. While it is a hard scoop ice cream shop, it also offers soft serve ice cream and froyo.
It’s unclear who brought froyo to Jordan; it may have been Pinkberry, which opened its first branch in Jordan in 2011. Although Gerard Ice Cream is older, we believe it added froyo after Pinkberry’s launch in Jordan.
We also found five closed businesses that served froyo, including Menchie’s.

- Tutti Frutti, Othman Bin Affan Complex, Amman. The oldest reviews are from 2016. It is a branch of the large multinational froyo chain.
- Waynes Coffee, Al Rawabi-Amman, Dahyet Al-Amir Rashid, Mamdouh Al Sarayrah Street, Amman. Waynes is a Swedish coffee shop chain, founded in Sweden in 1994. The locations in Jordan offer counter-serve froyo. The first location in Jordan opened in 2017.

Juice Bang Bang offered soft serve froyo from 2020 – 2021. It is not mentioned on the current menu. Frosti in Amman has hard scoop Italian ice cream and hard scoop yogurt ice cream. Zalatimo Sweets offers soft serve ice cream, not froyo.
Em Sherif Deli is expected to open soon, and some of their locations offer froyo.
