Swirl of Honor expands to Ohio and Pennsylvania with the addition of Yumberries. The prestigious program recognizes frozen yogurt shops for their commitment to frozen yogurt excellence.
February 11, 2014 – SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The International Frozen Yogurt Association (IFYA)’s Swirl of HonorTM program is proud to award three swirls to Yumberries, the most swirls a frozen yogurt shop can be awarded. Three swirls were awarded to each of Yumberries locations:
- 3342 E State St., Hermitage, PA 16148
- 1315 Boardman-Canfield Rd., Youngstown, OH 44512

The Swirl of HonorTM Program was launched by the IFYA in 2013 to recognize excellence in frozen yogurt. As the first and only quality seal program specifically for frozen yogurt stores, the IFYA developed stringent quality standards. Swirl of HonorTM recipients across the world have demonstrated their commitment to quality frozen yogurt, store cleanliness, superior customer service, and environmentally friendly business practices. Recipients receive one to three Swirls (1 = good, 2 = very good, 3 = excellent) based on how they meet IFYA standards.
