Summer is in full swing, which means that it’s prime froyo consumption time. Several froyo shops have come out with refreshing new summer flavors. Sorbets and summery drinks are popular at frozen yogurt shops this summer.
New summer flavors include:
- 16 HANDLES: Vegan friendly new flavors include Vegan Soy Vanilla and Coco Loco (coconut water sorbet)
- MENCHIE’S: Summertime watermelon sorbet was June’s featured flavor and July’s featured flavor is Chocolate Glazed Toffee Bar made with Heath
- ORANGE LEAF: Continuing its Year of Flavor, Orange Leaf named Blackberry Greek the flavor of the month for June and it also announced three new self-serve smoothie flavors: Strawberry Lemonade, Peanut Butter Banana and Pineapple Strawberry Banana
- PINKBERRY: The Summer Collection featured three new tastes: Banana Split, S’Mores, and Watermelon Cooler
- TCBY: The new Watermelon Sorbet was released in June and then they went global with the World of Froyo flavors: Brazilian Guanabana, German Lebkuchen, Japanese Black Sesame Vanilla and Indonesian Taro. The newest promotion features four flavors inspired by Angry Birds characters: Red’s Birdberry Yogurt (cereal milk), Piggies’ Sour Apple Sorbet, Chuck’s Bananabird Sorbet and the Blues’ Cacaw Cotton Candy Yogurt.
- YOGEN FRUZ: Summer Coolers flavors include Strawberry Daiquiri Sorbet, Mojito Sorbet and Pina Colada
- YOGURTLAND: Yogurtland’s Ultimate Summer Promotion started on July 7 and will feature ten new flavors inspired by vacation types. City Lights flavors were introduced on July 7: Caramel Macchiato and Cosmo Sorbet. The promotion marks the first time Yogurtland has introduced mocktail inspired flavors. Two new flavors will come out every two weeks.
