Frozen Yogurt Packaging Month
This month’s spotlight is on frozen yogurt packaging: the cups, spoons, cup lids and more that we’d have a hard time eating frozen yogurt without. Cups, spoons, cup lids, and napkins serve a practical purpose but they also provide an opportunity to brand and/or differentiate your frozen yogurt shop. For example, compostable spoons and cups show that a frozen yogurt shop cares about the environment. Unique frozen yogurt spoons can become covetable items that create buzz among frozen yogurt enthusiasts. Many frozen yogurt fans enjoy collecting and saving unique frozen yogurt spoons.
A New Trend: Custom Cup Lids
Custom printed frozen yogurt cups are quite commonplace at frozen yogurt shops. However, the newest packaging trend at frozen yogurt shops is custom cup lids. These aren’t generic round or flat clear plastic lids. Custom clear plastic PET lids can be embossed and printed in custom colors.
Both Menchie’s and Yogurtland offer custom lids and both of them have really cute designs. We love how they add that extra bit of branding to frozen yogurt packaging.
The lids have an added benefit of being easier to collect than paper frozen yogurt cups. Also, if you have a high swirl the embossed design can transfer to the top of your frozen yogurt. Neat.
